Riley has been unplugged for a few months, long enough to have gone through rehabilitation and the like, but not long enough to have fully acclimated to her surroundings. She's still dealing with everything, and trying to figure out her place and her goals in this very new, very strange world. She's not really ready to accept anything just yet, because her life, while shitty, was her life, and to find out it was all fake is a lot to take in.
That said, outwardly? She acts like she isn't plagued with doubts and uncertainty. She's a punk and she acts like it. She gets into trouble, she's not afraid to sass anyone that crosses her path, and she has no trouble disregarding rules. She's a good kid at heart, and if someone is in trouble she'll help, but she just might snag their wallet while doing so.

Unplugged five months ago from a Matrix in the 1960s that had her locked up in an asylum due to attempted murder of her stepfather and unintentional homicide of her little sister, she worked against the odds to find an escape with four other girls. With a knack for leadership and a coping mechanism that allowed her to escape into worlds inside of her head, she was dedicated to do in order to succeed, and she was unstoppable. With several deaths, self-sacrifice and only one escape, Babydoll was seconds away from a lobotomy before she was pulled.
Once in Zion, she didn't waste any time with Matrix-simulation training, weaponry and helping around the hospital. She's known for her quiet, gentle nature and helpful tendencies, but her skills in close-combat are something not to be reckoned with. With a ruthless determination, she'll protect her crew at all costs and won't back down without a fight, leaving her to be an incredible asset on any crew.

Jack Sparrow is maybe a little bit out of his league.
Of all the people who have been unplugged, you have to ask yourself, why Jack Sparrow? Why unplug someone whose matrix was set so far back in time that he looks around the Real World with a mix of apprehension and worry? The 1700s were a long time ago, even for most Modern Day Matrices, let alone the Real World.
But time periods don't have anything to do with capabilities and Jack Sparrow is more than capable. His people skills and his leadership skills are on point, he's charming he's charismatic... he's manipulative and calculating and apathetic and maybe just the tiniest bit of a kleptomaniac.
It hasn't been long since Jack has been unplugged. His short hair drives him crazy, as does the lack of muscle memory he's worked hard to gain over his 40 years in the Matrix. You may find him spending long periods of time training with swords and guns, tiptoeing c a r e f u l l y around any of the more "scarier" looking machines, and looking into regaining his title as Captain. ▲ ABBREVIATED DOSSIER |

In his Matrix, Stephen was one half of his world's most respected and also most codependent (not in a clinical sense... probably...) con artist duo, the eponymous Brothers Bloom. Stephen is a schemer and scrounger by nature, and anyone good at reading people can probably tell. Seeming trustworthy was his brother's job. But he's also friendly and charming and fairly harmless, in the grand scheme of machine wars and life-or-death intrigue, at least 50% more likely to have an ace up his sleeve than a knife.
He's been unplugged for a year, give or take, and once he'd been rehabilitated and the adrenaline wore off, he found himself at loose ends. He helps with the farms just so no one can judge him for failing to contribute, drinks whatever passes for beer around here, and relearned all of the fine motor control required for sleight of hand with obsessive focus. He's been friendly but aimless and secretly miserable, because he misses hats, cigarillos, and his baby brother. Fortunately, BLOOM IS HERE!!! and Stephen will be regaining some of his spark any day now.
